by Ali Znaidi
The ewe keeps bleating this morning.
—Aggregate of sarcastic bLeats,
w/ no pause in between, parodying his pain,
leaving him just wade into fancy.
Pretending to forget about his aches,
while laughing at the sun,
he just wonders, which is more painful –
aches or you?
Now, he has nothing to do but
sip the monosyllabic ‘you.’
—a panacea.
